My favorite subject

 


My favorite subject from this semester was Technology 1. In this class the teacher teaches us about about the technique from the theater. For example, we talk about the illumination, both it in the theater until event outside. We analyze the lightning, the connection and the weights of the materials with the safety for working. This is very important for the mounting know the safety in the place  for the tramoyas, technicians and the viewer. Also learned about mounting and action methods.

In these online classes, it has been easier to learn. The teacher studied the career but he did not finish it. He understands us and motivates us to follow what we want. Is important to know other looks, especially that are not university

What I liked most was the study of the lighting console and program schedule lighting in the simulator. This is very important to my career if I want to be a designer or lighting technician.

I love this, that theater design has its technical and logistical side and understand the power and responsibility we wield.

    The class seems entertaining and it's interesting all the technical stuff behind the theater and the subject, and I like that the teacher encourages you to keep studying even if he hasn't finished the race, it's good that he has the motivation of someone who understands them.

    Hi Paloma! How are you? I agree with Rocio this subject sounds so interesting. Also, I think that lighting is fundamental to the theater. I don't know, I have to say that I am ignorant on this topic, but I think that lighting can control emotions too.

It is not safe to deliver your personal data to the Internet, because the fraudsters can use them to get your pin number and security information. In Chile, for example, there is no protection of personal data, not even laws and people have to learn by themselves. For me, I would never post my cell phone number on social media or my adress. Also, my family has a secret password in case of fraud or kidnapping. We are aware of the risk.

  Pinterest is an internet photo sharing and publishing service that allows users to "Pin" pictures they like and upload their own recommendations to their "pinboards". Users can visit other pinboards, 're-pin' images to their own pinboards, or 'like' photos. I personally use it because I find many photos that I can use as inspiration for my career work, theater design. It is as simple as making a board with the name of the play I am working on, and adding photos of the different elements in which I want to be inspired (costumes, makeup, lights, colors). I usually look for photos of haute couture clothes, to guide me to the textures and colors in the works that I design. I also use it as inspiration for the style of my drawings, with which I can explain my ideas to the teachers, so I would say that I use this application every day or almost every day, checking if there is something that I can add to my next project.

Theatrical Desing change the world

I have the idea that you can change the world with education. With education you can demostrate and teach about different topic, for example, why is violence wrong, how to take care of the environment, or universal history.  Theatrical Design can transform space and transport you.  Personally, i see myself educating children with my work. Nothing fills my heart more than thinking that I can contribute to their growth with my designs in a ballet, an opera, a play or even a concert. I feel that we as theater designers have a responsibility to send a message with our work. In addition, our benefit to the world is that in theater design we always use recycled materials for our works, thinking about the environment and what is most economical for us, so our designs do not leave a negative effect over the years, only experience and education for all people.
